Enjoying the County from the water is a wonderful, relaxing experience that includes History, Natural Habitats and Sights not able to be seen from anywhere else. This 1&1/2 hour tour will also take you into shallow coves to view waterfalls and some of Natures Finest in Prince Edward County. It’s a perfect experience for visitors and locals as well, to see Picton from a very different perspective. Ideal for newcomers and and family visitors alike.
The vessel meets or exceeds all required compliance regulations for The Transport Canada Commercial Small Vessel Compliance Program ( Blue Decal), operating within the Sheltered Waters of Prince Edward County.
RICH IN HISTORY AND NATURE
Visitors to ‘The County’ have so much to see and do, they don’t want to spend a full or even a half day on the water. A 90 minute cruise is ideal. One and a half hours enjoying Picton from a vantage point few visitors and even some residents experience. In that time you see and learn about various historical sights and experience natures ‘sanctuaries’ under the boats’ silent auxiliary electric engine. Bring your camera. Great photo opportunities!
BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY – EVEN FIDO!
The boat comfortably accommodates up to 6 passengers on a stable, covered pontoon vessel. Perfect for the whole family including your pets. Cruising at a relaxed speed, you don’t miss a thing and can easily chat with the Captain or one another while not competing with loud engine noise. Food and beverages are not supplied. Feel comfortable bringing your own non alcoholic drinks and snacks. Cooler space is available, but limited. ** There are no on board ‘facilities’. Boat balance is a must for safety and management reserves the right to position passengers accordingly …the per passenger weight maximum is 250lbs. (113 kilos)
Covid 19 Notice
We are adhering to the provincial and local gathering limits and COVID protocols.
Masks and/or face coverings are required in all public spaces or where physical distancing is not possible. We will ask that you wear one while on tour.
We are limiting tours to 5 passengers from one household.
Two metres will be maintained between crew and passengers.
Wash your hands often with soap under warm running water for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Practise proper cough and sneeze etiquette.
Remember: While you may not feel sick, and these measures are an inconvenience, please be mindful of the members of our community who are more vulnerable to COVID-19 than others. We are all in this together.
